ROV Support and Expedition Vessel with DP2 & Aframe

Updated: Oct 2

On Offer is a vessel for ROV Support with DP2, AB+100 A1(ice class) originally built as a factory trawler, but with substantial rebuild in 1994 she worked as a mine sweeper in the UK Falkland campaign. Today she is providing comprehensive resources and facilities for the support of modern marine science. She is fully designed and equipped for 2 ROVs and has a unique deepsea excavator for various salvage operations, boulder removals, etc.

In 2021 all engines and generators (9 in total) were rebuilt, deck and other repairs undertaken. The ship is in perfect condition and ready to go. But at present all certificates have expired and the vessel is laid up with a team for maintaining her in good condition.

Optionally, the ROVs that are on board can also be purchased.

REX: This unique deep water system has been purpose built to provide efficient deployment, operation and recovery of various subsea tools.

A high-speed winch holding 3000 m of armored umbilical provides the load bearing REX with power comms and lift. The load bearing REX has multiple functions and is fitted out with the latest equipment in subsea navigation and survey. There is a range of various applications available for hire with survey equipment.

The REX is a general-purpose grab that can be used for any material handling operation. The grab has been used for wreck demolition, boulder clearance and cargo recovery operations. I.e at the Humber Gateway windfarm for boulder removal.
