This unit was built for specifically for Shell to operate in their field off the coast of Labuan, Malaysia. Since 2013, she has operated on this contract and had an extension option until May-28. After multiple discussions with Shell, they have agreed to release her from the obligation to extend the charter party agreement and sell the vessel after it completes the current term which ends on the 3rd of May of the current year. She is unique in that she is fitted to store and support oilfield operations with methanol. With Shell being one of the most stringent IOC’s in the world, the vessel is in top shape. We are now taking offers for a handover after the end of the current charter term in May. The unit will be available for inspection in the next few weeks as she returns from operations to resupply. The asking price is US$14,750,000 “as is where is”. This is non-negotiable and we are now scheduling inspections and taking offers above this level.
