FURTHER INFORMATION:

The CTV is built by the Abeking & Rasmussen shipyards in Germany.

The SWATH design gives her extreme high seaworthiness and flexibility at service. This type of vessel offers the possibility to perform safe crew transfers via the bow until 2,5 m significant wave heights.

Also during transit between the base port and the Offshore Wind Farm, the vessel sails very stable even in rough sea conditions. The special hull shape follows the SWATH principle (Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull) and reduces the risk of sea sickness during transit.

There is an active fender system installed, that compensates about 40% of the forces and reduces the impact to the boat landing.

This CTV can easly be modified to a pilot vessel due to it´s initial design which is based on the well-known A&R SWATH.

- The vessel is idle in Emden, Germany where an inspection can be arranged.
