We may again develop for sale following Floating Transfer Station
(256,147 MT DWT built 1991, lightship 44,969 MT).
She was converted into an iron ore transshipment vessel, from an ore carrier, in 2013 and is equipped with 05 Liebherr MPG cranes, Bedeschi double ship-loader conveyor belt + hopper system, 07 SMAG scissor grabs, 04 Yanmar 8EY26LW auxiliary engines with rated output of 2450kw @720rpm, 12 numbers of 3.3m diameter original Yokohama fenders and accommodation for a crew of 84 personnel.
The vessel has been designed to achieve a maximum cargo transfer rate of
5000 t/hr and can be used to load wide range of gearless vessels - from Panamaxes to VLOCs (very Large Ore Carriers) of upto 245,000 DWT.
